computer keeps freezing then goes to blue school memory dump

HP Pavilion dv7-3105ea Entertainment Notebook PC

 

Installed system windows 7 64-bit

 

Dear forum,

 

I regulary update my pavilion but recently my notebook constantly freezes and requires a reboot. occasioanlly it goes to blue screen memory dump (sorry did not note error code). When I scan the disk it comes up clean no errors. I checked windows errors and again nothing. Please help the frequency of it crashing is getting worse.

Turn OFF the Notebook and once its powered ON, keep Pressing F10 to load BIOS screen of the Notebook. In this screen under Diagnostics, run the test on hard drive and memory. Post back the results here.

Also in startup menu there is an alternate way where you can run F2 (System Diagnostics). The instructions can be found at below link

Hi I ran the diagnostic test through the bios and it came back clean. just as i rebooted 5 mins later it froze again. How to proceed next?

Power off the computer and Once you turn ON, Keep pressing F8 key repeatedly to load "Windows Advanced Boot options" screen. In this screen either select Safe mode/Safe mode with networking and logon to your user account.

 

Try using notebook as much as possible in safe mode and check if it freezes over there.
