dm3 new bios causes long delay to wake from sleep

I just updated the bios on my dm3-1030us and now when I open my computer, it takes about 60 seconds to turn on the screen from sleep.  This is much longer than the few it took prior to updating the bios.  I just checked, and closing the lid initiates sleep, not hibernate.

 

Please fix the bios.
