dm4 unable to wake up from sleep.

Dear all,

First time posting here.

Being bugged with this problem for quite long. When i leave my notebook on which is a HP Pavilion dm4-1106tx Entertainment Notebook PC it goes to sleep as usual, however after a long period of time when i try wake it up by tapping any keys on the keyboard and moving or clicking the mouse the display will never come up.

What i noticed is that the capslock key and the HP logo on the back of the screen will blink no matter what i do will not bring up the display, last resort is to unplug the power cable, flip over the notebook and remove the battery and after few seconds put the battery back on, restart the notebook and windows 7 will say system did not shutdown properly...... i will select the normal restart.

Unplugging the battery seems to be the only way for me to reset the notebook. I absolutely no clue what is wrong with it....

Anyone has any idea please let me know the solution...

Just uninstall the driver then restart the unit then update the Driver from HP website & Bios.

Which one you want me to uninstall? The unit has intel 3000 hd and amd mobility radon 5670 with 1gig...

My dm4 sleep has never worked (1.5 years). I have tried every trick HP has suggested. I just upgraded the firmware to the latest (.27). Still no joy. Are there any plans to correct this issue?
