dv6000 no boot after Bios update

I have an HP dv6000 "dv6768se" that stopped booting after a bios update. The power button does not work, but when I put the battery into the laptop it turns on and gives me 1 long and 2 short beeps. Nothing is displayed on the screen. I have changed memory, ac packs, battery packs. The machine was working fine before the bios update, just had a really old bios.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions?
