dv9540us-Vista Home Premium 32bit-powers up but won't even turn monitor on or go to bios.

HP Pavilion-Entertainment Notebook-dv9540us-Vista Home Premium 32bit.

Powers up but won't even turn monitor on or go to bios.

Fan runs and indicator lights light up, but no display.

Can hear 1st hard drive being tested, and various clicks, then nothing.HP Pavilion dv9540us.jpg

Tried connecting an external monitor, nothing.

Also tried to boot from CD, Flash, pushing Delete, F12,F10,F9,F2, and Esc, nothing.

Took battery out, powered down, waited 10-15 min. power back up w/o battery, nothing.

Took panel off back access to RAM and Bios battery, took battery out, replaced with new, tried re-setting bios to defaults, power up, nothing.

Please Help.

Seems a lot of their machines have the same problems. I'm thinking it's the display adapter, since the screen never has anything on it and the machine tries over and over to go through it's start up routine with no luck.
