my laptop randomly but repeatedly shuts down at night by itself after I close the lid.

THere is nothing special added to the laptop. I just close the lid when I am finished for the day and sometimes in the morning its fine and other times it is off and needs to be restarted.

 

HP PAvilion G6T-1B00 CTO Notebook PC

Windows 7

 

No error message until restarted then it asks; There was and unexpected shutdown do you want to fins a cause? When yes is pushed, it thinks, then fades away with no answer at all.
