my touch pad keeps freezing?

Hi,

First of all, shutdown the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter, remove the battery, and then hold down the Power button for a full minute.  Reinsert the battery, plug in the AC adapter and start the notebook - has this helped the issue at all?

have removed the battery lots of times, works for a while then freezes again.

only bought the pc on sunday never had these probs with my other laptop.

driving me mad think will have to take it back to store for refund.

I'd agree with you, as this is a brand new machine, take it back and get it replaced.
