Hi,
Shutdown the notebook. Start tapping away at f11 as soon as you press the power button to launch Recovery Manager which you can then use to reinstall the OS.
Alternatively, if you have created a set of Recovery Discs, insert the first disc and restart the notebook to start the process.
Either way is fine.

This does not work! I have the elitebook 6930 and i cant even get windows to start now! I have tried my discs and just get an error saying to insert another disc...and f11 doesnt do anything!!! I cannot boot in safe mode or anything. It was working fine this morning when i attempted to do a factory reset and couldnt figure it out because nothing hp support said worked...AT ALL!!! Please help! How am i supposed to get everything wiped form my comp and get it working again!?
