Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02641795.pdf
You can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedures in chapter 4.
You can purchase any name brand SATA II 2.5" notebook hard drive. It doesn't have to be from HP. You should get one at least the same size or your recovery disks won't work on it if it is much smaller in storage capacity than the one that died.
Based on the test results I believe your hard drive has failed and cannot be saved.

Thank you for the fast reply.
I am not very used with computer, Is there a way now to save what is on my hdd or make a recovery disk.
I did a recovery disk when I bought the pc, 2 years ago.
Now, I just did a backup of my files, document, picture, with HP assistant.
Is that enough to recuperate al what I had in my pc.
thank you

Hi:
Yes, after you install a hard drive and reinstall the operating system you should be able to copy your files back on.
The recovery disk you made 2 years ago, should work on a new hard drive.

Well, that isn't good!
Sometimes that happens.
You have two choices:
1. Order a recovery disk set by contacting HP at 1-(800)-474-6836 or 1-(877)-231-4351.
If they don't have them anymore, you can order a set from this vendor below.
http://www.computersurgeons.com/productdetails.asp
2. If you can still read the 25 digit product key on the Microsoft Windows COA sticker on the bottom of your PC, you can download the ISO file of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit from the link below.
You need to download it in the language that came installed on your PC. (English, French, or Spanish).
Burn the ISO file to a DVD using a DVD burning program that can burn ISO files so that the DVD is bootable.
Burn at the slowest speed you can.
http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-windows-7-s
Use the product key on the Microsoft COA sticker on the bottom of your notebook to activate your installation.
Then go to your notebook's support and driver page to install any drivers you need.]

Put on a dvd-r with Free iso burner
Boot the computer... loading file... asked to choose the language (french, Canada)
After it asked to install a CD/DVD player driver ...
I Can't find it anywhere.

Hi:
You need to try a different brand DVD and you have to make sure you burn it at the slowest possible burn speed.
There are no DVD drivers needed.
Google the error, and you will find that 99% is due to a bad burn.
