Struggling with web os dr and windows 7. I hate windows. The drivers just won't load!!

It worked fine for me on Win 7. I guess these a nonsense question, but did you try restart your pc with the pad plug? Sometimes that does the trick with drivers on windows.

well that suck, I guess I will have to tell HP to send me the box to send it for repair, because the closer best buy don't look like will anymore tabs after the shipping I got this one from.

Oh well, as soon as it gets fix to my satisfaction and it looks like new when I get it back it will be fine with me. If not I will send I will send it back again until I'm happy, at least they pay the take care of the shipping cost.

Re: touchpad freeze

called. Their only suggestion was to reboot. They're sending a box out to send in for repair.

Re: touchpad freeze

I called customer support. They assisted me in getting web os doctor to do it's thing. Unfortunately this did not resolve the issue and after an 1.5 hours the nice folks helping me told me this was a hardware issue. They transferred me to another Person who I thought was going to arrange a replacement or repair. Instead he was going to refund my $ and have me return it. When I asked for a replacement/ repair he told me that this is not an option at this time. I have until 15 Sept to send it a back for a full refund but... There is no guarantee of me picking up another one. No head of the line privileges. Nothing! Not sure what to do at the moment.....I am afraid if I send it back I will have nothing. If I keep it is lame but still functional.

Re: touchpad freeze

My laptops 3 USB ports in case one had power shutting off. It's a moot point now. Will try preware to see if I can find a work around besides gluing ny finger to the screen or one of stylus tips as these keep if from going into the freeze. Bummed they didnt offer me an option to repair which makes me wonder what they will do for others until the 1 year warranty that break or fail in 6 months
