will not boot up

When you press the power button the lights above the keyboard light up and the fan starts then it shuts off. It has power. I have tried it with the battery and plugged in.

Hello,

Disconnect all power sources and any other externals, usb, Etc, press and hold the power button for one minute, reconnect the outlet but not the battery and attempt to start.

If it were a rattler. . . .

Thanks for responding. I tried that and the same thing happened. The lights turn on then back off after a second.
