windows7 home premium on start up has to restart about 75% of the time.

i have a hp pavilion dv7 4285 dx entertainment pc with windows 7 home premium. on start up about 75% of the time the message windows explore has stopped working,then shows windows explorer looking for problem,then says windows explorer is restarting,which it finally does kick in.any correction for this problem. thank you
