Get the checksum by entering the password incorrectly on the BIOS password screen. Most vendors will show the checksum after 3 bad attempts. Then use the following site: https://bios-pw.org

 

Put the checksum in the text box, hit Enter, and then you have your password. Simple. The other suggestions on here aren't very good as they're either time or labor intensive. This will work.

I am trying to get passed a forgotten bios password to a HP elite X2 machine I have purchased. Does your booth and HPBR solution work with this? I have no access to USB boot so would need to use a HDD boot will this work?
