I upgraded OS of Compaq Presario R3000 from Windows XP to Windows 7 and upgraded RAM to 1GB (2 x 512 MB).
Under device manager, I have one device under with exclamation mark (OTHER DEVICE/BASE SYSTEM DEVICE) saying that this devie needs driver as below that I was not able to find.
"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."
"No driver files are required or have been loaded for this device"
The hardware ID is:
PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_8201&SUBSYS_006D103C&REV_01
PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_8201&SUBSYS_006D103C
PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_8201&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_8201&CC_0880
The compatible ID is:
PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_8201&REV_01
PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_8201
PCI\VEN_104C&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_104C&CC_0880
PCI\VEN_104C
PCI\CC_088000
PCI\CC_0880
I would appreciate it very much if any expert could help me out.

Hi:
I do not believe there are Vista or W7 drivers for that card reader.
You'll have to try the XP driver from your PC's support and driver page.
Try manually installing it if the auto install method doesn't work.

Hello, Paul!
Thank you for your help yesterday to install multimedia driver. This solved sound speaker problem.
Another trouble is "Base System Device" driver that you sent the solution in the link in 2014.

You're very welcome.
Your model has been retired from HP support, so I can't look up any specs on it anymore.
Perhaps you need this driver...based on the hardware ID you posted.
