Failure Id. RGBTSX-6Q8886-MFGJWK-C08Q03
My battery was working just fine until all of a sudden it stopped charging fully; it would stop roughly around 79% and it would take forever to move up just 1%. However, once off the charger, the battery would run out normally and not run out within minutes. It just doesn't charge fully. I ran the battery diagnosis over and over again and one time it would say the battery was fine, working normally, and immediately after it would say it needed to be replaced. Through HP Support Assistant the error presented as REO0W, but when I did the diagnosis through the HP System Diagnostics it was RGBTSX-6Q8886-MFGJWK-C08Q03. My computer is fairly recent. Do I really have to replace the battery, already?
Thanks.

Hi,
Can you use your machine with its charger now ? If yes, please backup your files/data as soon as possible. The 24 character failed id normally indicates a more serious error on the HDD than the battery itself.
Regards.
