When requesting assistance, please provide the complete model name and/or product number of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq makes thousands of models of computers. Without this information it may be difficult or impossible to assist you in resolving your issue.
The above requested information can be found on the bottom of your computer or inside the battery compartment. Please do not include your serial number.
Note that some originally installed Windows 7 compatible WiFi/Bluetooth cards, may not be fully compatible with Windows 8.
Please post the Windows Device Manager's "Hardware Ids" for the missing or unknown devices, as shown in the example below;

IS THERE A N EASY WAY TO GET A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER TO WORK ON MY PC? I KNOW NEXT TO NOTHING ABOUT NOTEBOOKS & I KEEP GOING IN CIRCLES. I'AM ONE WHO IS AFRAID OF BREAKING MY NOTEBOOK & WILL MOST LIKELY BRING IT IN TO A SERVICE DEPOT.
