After installing much software like MS word can I still make a HP restore disk with only the HP driver and software that came with the PC and not all the MS Word and other programs that where never part the the original setup in the first place.

Hi,
Welcome to HP Support Forum. Sorry I don't know what is your computer BUT given you have NOT changed the Recovery partition you can make/create HP Restore media (USB or DVD's) and this WON'T contain all the MS Word and other programs that where never part the the original setup in the first place.
