Thanks Paul for your expertise.  I have been working on this for about 6 hours. Your code opened the computer immediately.  If there a deep dark secret to come up with these pass-codes? If its not an old family secret, I would appreciate knowing where to find them.

It's not a secret as far as I'm concerned.

 

Here is the website you can use to generate unlock passcodes for different model (and brand) notebooks.

 

This will not work for most business class notebooks, which have a more robust security system.

 

Nor will it work (at this time) for any notebook that generates a hexidecimal (letters and numbers) system disabled code.
