Do I need DPAgent.exe?

I have ProBook with W7 64-bit, and DPAgent.exe is consuming a lot of memory, can I remove it? What will happen if I do? Thanks

Re: Do I need DPAgent.exe?

Important: Some malware camouflage themselves as DpAgent.exe, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder. Thus check the DpAgent.exe process on your pc whether it is pest.

Re: Do I need DPAgent.exe?

Its part of the digital persona fingerprint software. If you don't use the fingerprint function then it is ok to remove, or  try updating the software.
