Error 0x4001001300001002

Good morning! I had a problem with the notebook and  I had to use the recovery manager. When I started  formatting the message  Error 0x4001001300001002 appeared. I tried using with and without disks. I noticed that the problem happens when the reinstalling original content option is triggered by the recovery manager. What do i do?

Just describe in simple terms exactly what you are doing. It reallly helps.

System Recovery may fail or display an error message.

Please identify your notebook with the p/n from the barcoded sticker on the bottom of your notebook PC.

Did you try a Recovery  with the keystrokes on powering up?

Press power button and then tap the Esc key. Now select F11 and choose a recovery option. If the factory image restore did not work then I suggest trying one of the other options to see if it will complete.

It is necessary that you check to see that all of the drivers installed after the recovery is complete.

Check the web support page for your notebook for updated drivers (matching the installed operating system) for the devices that still have a need  for them.

What you need is a repair disc for the installed OS. I have no clue which OS since you did not give that information. A repair disc can reinstall the boot manager. Which OS is installed?

You may download one from here. You will need to burn the image to a blank CD. IMGBurn is a free utility that is ideal for that.

You should be aware that there are two versions of each Microsoft operating system and they are r 32-bit and 64-bit. It is always helpful to identify the OS with the name and the version. (i.e. Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit)

Sounds as if you are at the point of needing to do a system recovery. Take a read of this overview and then decide which way is best for you.
