I was using the finger print scan until I upgraded to windows 10.  It simple gives me error messages now or will not scan to the registered web site.  The last error was OpBH054.  What do I do to resolve ths issue.

Thank you for the reply!

 

Please uninstall the Bio-metric device driver in the Device Manager. Download Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver here: sp74365.exe, and install it.

 

Also uninstall the HP SimplePass from Programs and Feature. Download HP SimplePass Identity Protection Software here: sp71729.exe, and install it.

 

Restart the laptop. And let me know if it works this time.

Thank you for posting at HP Forums! I have read your post and wanted to help.

 

I understand that it gave your error message when you use the finger scan to register website after the system was upgraded to Windows 10.

 

In order to better assist you, please post back the the product number of the laptop.
