Pavilion Notebook LK8JHHPQ
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP has informed me I need to do a factory reset of my HP Pavilion LK8JHHPQ laptop. I've never done one before. Could someone provide the instructions for such an operation? If I'm not mistaken all the applications and programs that came with the system will be restored, is that right? I would only have to install any programs I've loaded myself, such as Word.

I should save all the files I need before running the factory reset,  is that right?

Thanks
