Fresh installation of original OS from HDD to SSD

It is my first post on any forum so far, so excuse my mistakes 😄

Iam not satified with the HDD which came along with the laptop because of the loading times and stutters in-game.i tried all sorts of solutions to fix it but cudnt achieve anything...

I bought a Samsung 850EVO m.2 Sata 3 250GB SSD in order to shift my OS and may be few things on to it to achieve superior load times.I'am a newbie when it comes to all this OS migration and Recovery as i read through many other solutions... SO im looking for a step-by-step ,like as if teaching ABCD to a Nursery student, guide/instructions to Freshly install my original OS (Without losing my Windows Key) onto the SSD from my HDD.

 I have taken a backup of pics,music,games etc folders already but while moving the OS to SSD i also dont want to lose my Nvidia Gefore Experience software(It came in-built when i bought the laptop) and as I mentioned im a newbie so i dont know if while moving OS this Nvidia Geforce software will be coming along with it or not.

It's pretty simple if you do drive cloning from HDD to SSD.

Macrium Reflect Free software is what I suggest.

You can also clean install Windows 10 Home 64 bit using Microsoft windows media creation tool by creating bootable installation USB.

Both installation gets automatically activated after installation while connected to internet.

HERE is the Samsung Tools and Software page for that model SSD.  Look at and use appropriate guide for the SAMSUNG MAGICIAN and the DATA MIGRATION software guides.

I would like to clone to reduce all the hardwork i have to do , but i have heard that cloning can cause certain issues like windows update issues etc. What do you say about it , thanks for helping 😄

I've done it in all my 3 notebooks for HDD to SSD migration.

Do a DISM scan, SFC scan to rule out any system file errors before cloning.

I'll suggest you to do extensive hard drive and memory testing from BIOS/UEFI by tapping F2 key as soon as you power on laptop,

and also create Recovery USB before any upgrade.

It says that making the recovery drive needs lots of space and i only have 1 backup hardrie with important data in it that i cannot delete , should i really do this?

Also do i need to configure anything in bios for my ssd? Such as a setting known as AHCI or something like that?
