Elitebook 2530p
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I've just updated to Windows 10 Home (32bit) from Window 7 Home Premium.

Device manager (other devices) is reporting no drivers for the following:

Fingerprint Sensor

PCI Serial Port

PCI Simple Communications Controller

Unknown Device

No Windows 10 drivers appear in the OS list on the HP support site for this machine.

Can I use the Windows 7 drivers?

Thanks for any help or advice.

Hi,

Can I use driver win 7 on win 10 for mobile broadband device?

Hi, @Valio :

You have nothing to lose by trying it, but I have a feeling that device isn't going to work on W10.

My 6930p did not have a WWAN card, so I can't tell you if it will work or not.

Thank you, Paul.

Your feeling is right 🙂

I will switch back to win 7 (though win 10 works faster) because 3G is very important for me. Hope soon HP will develop good driver.

Bests,

Sorry the W7 driver didn't work for you.
