I had a virus on my HP 2700 and performed the restore to factory. During the process of reinstallation, there was a power glitch and now the installation did not complete. Now it tells me to restart to do the install. It keeps doing this in a loop with no resolution. I am able to get to a command prompt from doing a Ctrl Alt Del and going to task manager but windows will not start. Is there a way to restart the installation from the command prmopt? Please help!! I am using Windows 8

I understand you are experiencing issues recovering your computer back to factory. If you are still unable to perform the recovery properly I would like you to review and follow the steps set out in the HP Support document: Troubleshooting HP System Recovery Problems (Windows 8), which will walk you through troubleshooting the recovery issue and resolving it.
