HP Pavilion dm4-1050ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, my Pavilion dm4-1050ca crashes after it is up and running for about 5-10 minutes.  I decided to try the HP System checks at start up and it generates the following information:

FAILURE ID:  M0ALXW-55G8HC-XD6U3G-60WJ03

PRODUCT ID:  WQ876UA#ABC

Could somebody please direct me to what this failure means and how to fix it?

Many thanks!

Patricia

Hi,

Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char failure id indicates the HDD is failing and need to be replaced. Is it still under warranry ? If Yes, please call HP for a replacement.

In the US:

Hi BH,

Could there be another possibiity?    Perhaps something is wrong with the BIOS?

At times when I restart my laptop I get the error message'' no bootable device insert boot disk and press any key''.

I started getting this problem after one day I visited a very suspicious website.

Thanks,

Patricia
