I have downloaded a back up to a dvd/r cd from the reset password link after entering the password too many times but if i reinstall it after flash will it then have the same password problem again??

I'm not clear what you are referring to when you say flash and which link do you mean?

System recovery but there is a recovery option that states returning to the state before any userers programs or software had been downloaded , backed up computer from there and do a recovery with that option also the back up i did not include user settings . This would be correct way to reset my password because i havent used this computer in 3 years ?
