Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I had the same issue and changed the boot options. It still wouldn't reboot so I followed your instructions regarding holding the power button for 15 secs then rebooting and tapping F2. I hit ESC to get the startup menu but there was no system test option. I selected "continue restart" and the screen is just blank. Where do I go from here?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Your post has been split off into its own thread, so there is no information regarding the "same issue".  You will need to provide us the details.

I see you're running Win10. Did the PC come preinstalled with Win10? Or, did you upgrade it from a prior OS to Win10?

This is important as the recovery/reset method is different for the two situations.

When you reboot this time, press Esc key repeatedly, several times a second, while rebooting the laptop. Do NOT hold the key down, just press it over and over.

Do you see an HP Startup Menu -- that looks similar to the image below ...?
