HP Laptop - 15z touch optional
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I just recently bought this laptop right about a month ago and it just recently started acting up for no reason. When I press the power button, an orange LED light comes on, the screen lights up with no images, and there is a noise; but the laptop doesn't turn on. I can hold the button in, but eventually the screen just goes back to black, the noise stops, amd the LED light goes off. How can I fix my laptop and get it working properly again?

Hello,

Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum. Welcome onboard!

I am sorry for the issues you experience with your HP computer.

Please, review these 2 HP official articles about such issues you experience now. Follow the appropriate steps that fit your case to attempt to fix the issue:

If you did try everything but nothing helped, I am afraid you will need to bring your computer (or ship it) to service - HP Authorized service center. If the computer is still under warranty, you will need to notify HP support first. If you are not sure where such a center is located, please contact HP support for assistance in finding one.
