I have recently purchased this NB slightly used. i was given passwords which do work when it asks for adminstrator / start up password but it does not work when it says just administrator,it comes up after 3 attemts saying System Disabled [1 687212582] I have no operating system and dont no how to redownload it cause password keeps stopping me. I have tried esc button, tried all the F2 F11 F12 combinations.  It driving me absolutely crazy......HELP

Check the halt code you've posted - it should be 8 digits long.

Thankyou it worked. ok now i have administrator password licked. how do i get operating system to work again. at the moment it only going to HP PC Diagnostic UEFI
