Hi all,
I'd like to know if:
(1) there is only one ram slot, which means I can upgrade system ram with
a 8 GB ram module only by replacing original 4 Gb ram module or adding
a second module, obviously a compatible one (which brand?);
(2) it is possible downgrade to Windows 7, eventually downloading drivers
for this OS, considering that I have not found them on the official HP website.
Thanks a lot for the feedback: have a nice year,
Carlo.

It is not mentioned clearly whether machines with Pentium processor such as yours has one or two memory slots. But from experience of finding solutions to many members here with Pentium laden notebooks, I am sure yours would be a single slot board.
One non-customer-accessible/upgradable
memory module slot
DDR3L-1600 single channel support
Pentium processor:
Supports up to 8 GB of system RAM in the
following conƭgurations:
● 8192-MB total system memory
(8192×1)
Please confirm this by running this scanner, which lists all the compatible upgrades:

Or this:

You've to get the exact configuration, speed, voltage RAM module as given in the manual or the old one.
Page 56, 57 shows replacement procedure. It has to be done by HP authorised service technician if you're within warranty. Else if something breaks in the process HP wouldn't honor the warranty.

Make sure you create Recovery USB thriving HP recovery manager or by following method before proceeding:

No downgrade since your laptop came with Windows 10 64 bit from factory (the activation key for this windows version is embedded in the motherboard BIOS chip).
Do a clean install of Windows 7 64bit. Before this, make sure you've Windows 7 64bit licence with 25 character alphanumeric key to activate it after clean install and obviously you've a Windows 7 installation media.
