HP 15 - AY084TU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought this HP 15 - AY084TU recently and OS installed is Windows 10 Pro whereas the OS provided by HP for this same product is DOS. Is it okay to run OS Windows 10 Pro in this product instead of OS DOS which was given by default by the HP (after checking online on various E-Commerce portals). Please help as I'm not a tech savvy and the dealer has sold me saying it's a good deal.

The configuration is as follows:

Intel Core - i5 - 6200U; 6th Generation (2.3 or 2.4 Ghz); RAM 4GB DDR4; 1TB hard disk; 15.6'' HD LED; DVD Writer; Web Cam; WiFi; Bluetooth; Card Reader; Intel HD Graphics 2GB; OS Windows 10 Pro lincense

Hi:

Yes, that is fine.  Your notebook was designed to run W10.

You got it a a lower price because it didn't come with Windows.

Here is the link to the W10 driver section for your notebook if you need to install any drivers...

Thank you Paul! But i enquired from other nearby dealers and they were saying the laptop cannot be customized so how someone can put license windows 10 replacing DOS from it?

You're very welcome.

You have to buy W10 with a product key (license).

If you have purchased W10 with a product key, it will work just fine and be completely legal to have.
