I've been having boot issues with my HP ZBook 15. I had restored software over the weekend after the first issue. But shortly thereafter the computer froze, failed to respond and began having boot issues again.
Subsequent attempts to restore software have failed. In running diagnostics, many have cancelled automatically with a null failure code. Many of the basic harddrive checks (Smart check) pass, but I am unable to run a full diagnostic.
The only code I have received throughout this time is:
RU47G2-7SC71N-XD7WLK-60E003, Hard Drive I, Primary HDD Bay
This feels like a toast harddrive to me, but would appreciate some information on the error code since some of the simpler harddrive tests do pass.

Hi,
Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char failure id indicates the HDD is failing and need to be replaced. Is it still under warranry ? If Yes, please call HP for a replacement.
