HP Mini 210-1000 CTO PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

The hard drive in my HP Mini 210-1000 netbook failed.  Since it has no optical drive I never created the recovery discs.  Is there any way to get recovery discs for this computer?  I can't find them on the HP website.  Does anyone have them or know where I can get them?

Hello @Daniel3800

Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum.

You can obtain the recovery media from this website

First you need to check your product number as described here >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108  so that you are able to select the correct recovery media.

Eventually, you can visit this website and purchase original HP Recovery media from there >> http://www.computersurgeons.com/search.aspx?searchterm=210-1000   based on the correct product number. You also need to know the OS that your computer originally came with preinstalled.

You will receive discs you need to boot from and perform the recovery. You may need to also buy an external DVD on USB device similar to this one >here< so that you can boot from (use) the recovery discs

Hope this helps.
