Paul,   Yes.  Got win 7 installed, mostly.    I did go to the hp site but it seems to not remember where the drivers for a HP pavilion dm4 with Win 7 64 bit.  

I found a place to download software drivers but not sure what to use?  The main thing is the LAN is not working.  I plugged into the network with a cable and have internet access.

Any hints?

Hi,

 

Enter the product number in the box on the link I posted above,and you will be directed to the support and driver page for your notebook.

 

The product number can be found on the same sticker as the serial number.
