Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Turn computer on and screen display:  Boot device not found (reconfigured boot device to Internal DVD drive).    Have Win 10 disk in CD drive which is what was on computer when crashed.  Computer doesn't seem to be recognizing the drive.  Ran diagnostics on memory and HD and both passed.  What do I do now?

Regardless of BIOS settings most HP laptops look at Hdd as first boot device. Immediately after powering on start tapping Esc key. F9 Boot option should be a choice. Tap F9, use arrow key to highlight/select CD/DVD drive- then Tap Enter key.

Boot device not recognized no matter what order the boot options are set.

Keeps saying there is no OS on HD!

Disable Secure Boot and enable Legacy boot in BIOS:
