HP Pavilion dv6699ed

After a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate 32, and updated drivers/software for the quick launch buttons and fingerprintdevice, I still have 2 unknown devices:

PCI bus 9, device 9, function 2

PCI bus 9, device 9, function 3

For both devices it shows that the drivers are not installed.

Can you help me by telling what devices are and which drivers I need to install ?

Thanks in advance.

Frans

Install HP Vista card reader driver for Your model to solve problem with Base System Device:

Ricoh 5-1 Card Reader Driver here

When there will be some kind of problems with installation then try to run it in Vista compatibility mode.

Vista? Or do you mean to say Windows 7?

Sorry, off course I meant 'Windows 7' instead of 'Vista'.

I will edit my main message as well.

Hi,

Go to Control Panel -> Devices Manager

Click with right button of Your mouse on each yellow sign and choose properties. Then go to bottom details and paste here Hardware Ids. This way we will know what it is.

Below You've got example how to do it:

Device ID

Hello

Installing the Intel drivers didn't solve the problem.

The hardware id's as asked by Daniel_Potyrala are:

USB\VID_03F0&PID_171D&REV_0100

USB\VID_03F0&PID_171D

I have to say that it is a HP Integrated Bluetooth Module (and not a Thinkpad)

Thanks for a second look.

PS

A link to a Screenprint with the hardware id's
