Hi:

Microsoft does not allow PC manufacturers such as HP to offer OEM operating systems for download.

They have to put the operating systems on physical media.

HP sells recovery media for your PC.

This site claims to have genuine Microsoft ISO files to download.

You can read their statement regarding how they access the files...

If your PC has the W7 product key on the case, and you can read all 25 characters of the W7 product key, you can make your own plain W7 installation media on DVD and try that...

Click on the link labeled Windows ISO Downloader.exe

You can use either the:

Win 7 Home/Pro SP1 (as applicable) or the (Retail version, but the OEM key on your PC's case should work with it)

Win 7 Home/Pro SP1 (as applicable) COEM (This version would be for what HP would have used--System Builder)

N is for European Union countries.

K is for South Korean markets.

Then you can use this tool to transfer the file to a 4 GB USB flash drive or a DVD.
