Hi Forum
I installed Windows 10 x64bit on a HP DV6 .
There is a question mark in the device manager.
I see the following message
Device ACPI\HPQ0004\2&daba3ff&3 requires further installation.
Where do I find the driver for this device? or whar device this is?
Please help / advise
Many Thanks
Michael

Hi:
The driver that was posted above will not work for the version of the 3D driveguard hardware your notebook has.
You need this driver...
4.2.9.1 REV: A
This package provides the HP 3D DriveGuard software for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. HP 3D DriveGuard protects the hard drive by "parking the heads" if the notebook is accidentally dropped or is abruptly impacted by another object.

It's the 3D Driveguard (accelerometer) driver. Try this:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75501-76000/sp75979.exe
If this is "the Answer" please click "Accept as Solution" to help others find it.
