I have an HP Pavilion dv4-2015dx, serial number CNU1234RXX,  that I need to reset the BIOS password on.   This laptop has not been used in several months and I was going to restore it to factory but I have forgotten the password.  Can anyone help me with how to reset the BIOS password?  Thanks in advance.

Hi,

 

If you enter an incorrect password 3 times, you should receive a halt code - post back with this code.
