Did it not come with Windows 10? Maybe FreeDos? There are only 2 kinds of Windows 10: Pro and Home. Home 64 bit would be a fine choice and is likely what the laptop is licensed to have if it came with Windows.
HP posts a full set of Windows 10 drivers for it:

Hello rado_hp
Just so you know, HP does not support the Pavilion 15 au004nu with drivers for Windows 7. The laptop was intended for Windows 10. You would have to find work arounds / drivers yourself if they exist, from other sources.
If the Win 7 disc wont install, its possible a USB bootable might work but I do not give any guarantees that it will.
Legacy mode may or may not work with Win7 on your HP.
You can download a copy of Win 7 directly from Microsoft if you have the key to activate it. Then use a USB creation tool like Rufus to make the installer.
Let me know how it works out for you.
Thanks.

If you have not destroyed the original OS yet and Windows 10 will still work, you would be wise to create the HP Recovery media first. Just in case things dont work out.

You have to do some tweaking to install Windows 7 from usb on the Skylake and Kabylake platforms. There is a patcher you have to install:

You might have already tried that. I don't know. At best, Windows 7 is not optimal for the 7th gen Intel platform. I won't bother to ask why Windows 10 is not an option for you.

Radu sounds Romanina if Im guessing correctly?
If so, specs show this version in Bulgaria with FreeDos using an i3-6200U.

As Huffer pointed out, You can reload Windows 10 (home most likely) if it came preinstalled already. If not, Windows wont activate without purchasing a key.
