im having issues get into my notebook 

the password i remembered is not working

all i get is password check failed

fatal error ... system halted.

i need help get back on it

Restart the PC and see if entering this unlock passcode works...

i see the windows xp logo

take or can i carry on a normal?

You're very welcome.

 

You should be good to go.

 

Now, if you keep getting the system disabled message, use that code again.

 

Tap the F10 key to get access to the BIOS.

 

Select the security menu>enable/disable password.  Use the code again to open this category.

 

Clear the password by hitting the enter key in the new password box and hit the enter key again in the confirm password box, save the settings and exit the BIOS.

 

Hopefully the PC will start up and go right into Windows for you.
