Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome.
I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion g4-1121tx Notebook and issues with the WebCam not working correctly. Here is a document on WebCam troubleshooting.
If that does not help I would uninstall the Cyberlink and the MediaSmart software completely and reinstall the software.
The CyberLink YouCam Software should be installed.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system at the time of purchase.
