I recently purchased the ENVY dv7t - 7300 notebook.
Windows 8 is horrible and, should not be offered on this device, as to the lack of ease of use and this system.
Can I install windows 7 and if so, what might be any issues, I could run into.
I engoy the finger print security reader and in addition do not want to lose functionality to the web cam either.
Are there any driver issues I might run into or anything else?
I would really appreciate any support, that anyone can offer.

You're very welcome.
The only thing I am not 100% sure would work is the webcam, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.
All of these W7 x64 drivers from this related model will work on yours.
Make your set of W8 recovery disks first before attempting to downgrade.
Make a note of the graphics adapter in your notebook. I see from your listing below that it states Dedicated and Installed is the HD 4000. That would lead me to believe the notebook has switchable graphics (AMD/Intel).
You can confirm that by looking in the device manager under Display Adapters. You should see an AMD and an Intel video adapter listed there.
You only install the AMD video driver for the graphics, as that contains drivers for both video cards as it states on the Description on the driver download page.
Make a note of what wireless card you have in your notebook, so you can install the right driver for it from the list.
Copy the SWSetup folder from the C:\ drive to a portable hard drive, as that contains all of the program installation files that came with your PC.
If they work on W7, they will be of value to you.
Should you have any difficulty finding the right driver to install for a particular component, please post the hardware ID for it and I will post the link to the driver you need.
If you don't know where to find the hardware ID, please read the info at the link below.

I have a similar problem, I have been "upgraded" to W7 from W8, now my biometric reader does not work. It says it has "no managent system" installed. I know how to use this program, I set up my wifes W8 HP that I bought her for X-mas. How do I fix this problem? The drivers are good, I even tried to update them, the update is the same as I have already, the rest of the issue has me for a loss.
Validity Sensors (WBF) (PID=0018) It says it is working correctly......
Computer spec's (from system properties);
Service pack 1
Installed RAM 8.00 GB
Intel CORE i5-3230M CPU@2.60GHz 2.60 GHz

My recommendation would be for you to read this helpful guide on getting the fingerprint sensor to work.

if the only issue you are having is the fingerprint sensor not working, then my previous suggestion still stands.
Unfortunately, I do not know anything about troubleshooting fingerprint sensors if you have installed the W7 driver and W7 software for the device from the related model I posted a while back.
