Graphic card and bluetooth functionality lost upon Windows 8 upgrade

I recently upgraded to Windows 8 on my Laptop HP Pavilion dv6. Now the bluetooth functionality and graphic card are not functioning . I have come to learn that HP has not tested Windows 8 on this laptop . What can be done? Should I wait for a BIOS upgrade or revert back to Windows 7.

Re: Graphic card and bluetooth functionality lost upon Windows 8 upgrade

Try the following Bluetooth drivers:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp58001-58500/sp58416.exe (Intel)
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp59001-59500/sp59021.exe (Broadcom)
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp58001-58500/sp58499.exe (Atheros)

Any one of them would work. If you need any other drivers, please follow these steps:
1. In the Run box type devmgmt.msc.
2. Unknown devices would be listed as such and marked out with a yellow question mark.
3. Select the unknown device or other device for which you need drivers and right click to access Properties.
4. In the Properties window click on Details tab and select Device Instance Id  or Hardware ID from the drop down.
5. An alphanumeric string like this PCI\VEN_1217&DEV_7130&SUBSYS_012F1025&REV_01\4&6B16D5B&0&33F0 is the identification marker for the device.
6. Please provide this number so that we can suggest the appropriate driver.

Re: Graphic card and bluetooth functionality lost upon Windows 8 upgrade

The hardware id that you provided is pertaining to Ralink wireless adapter. If it is related to ralink bluetooth, try the following driver:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp58501-59000/sp58515.exe
