I need directions/drivers on how to downgrade my notebook from vista to XP.
Here are the details:
HP Pavilion DV6805ep
Chipset: nVidia nForce 7150M-630M, AMD Hammer
Graphics: NVIDIA GEFORCE 7150M / NFORCE 630M
Audio: CONEXANT Cx20561 @ nVidia MCP67
Network: Atheros AR5007 802.11b/g Wifi
Note: Also when i pull up the system it say's it's a DV6700.

Before downgrade make Vista backup. Here You've got all informations how to do it.
Update Your Bios to the latest version from here.
How to do it?
Plug You ac adapter to the computer.
Disconnect from the internet. Switch off any antivirus and firewalls.
Start updating Bios. It may take some time. Don't switch off Your laptop, don't disconnect ac and don't do anything on it when this update is running.
Be sure also that You are using WinXP SP2 version. If you haven't got SP2 version here you can download this service pack
and here You have got guide how to slipstream this file with Your system again by nLite.
In this program You can even burn Your new XP cd with this driver.

You may try Jonah guide which was tested many times on this and BSF forum which is here.
There are all XP drivers posted.
Or You may try also this guide which wasn't tested by me but it should work.
Chipset here (First install this and reboot)

MS-UAA for SP2 (required with a reboot before Audio and Modem) here
Conexant High-Definition Audio here
Unzip to a folder..use Device Manager,right click "Audio Device on HD",choose Update driver,
No to connect,
Install from a list or specific location,
Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,
For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'
Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".
Next...browse to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".
Ignore XP when it complains.
