First of all when I try to install drivers from the HP website for the mentioned model...The graphic processor is mentioned wrong.Some AMD graphic card is mentioned whereas the laptop has NVIDIA 740M Graphic card.Also when I manually update the driver from NVIDIA website I cannot install the new driver as an error shows that No hardware found..pls look into the matter.how can I update my graphic driver ?

After doing a search, I found the driver you need from a different model.
I will report the problem to HP.

I found the driver that is required from the nvidia site but an error is coming that hardware is not found it is something related to ion of laptops that hp has not submitted it.

I think if you are trying to update the nVidia graphics driver from the nVidia site, you need to update the Intel graphics driver first.
The Nvidia 740M driver I posted from the other HP model is probably the latest one HP has released.

Sorry that driver didn't work.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you any further with this matter, as I do not have any further ideas you can try.
You will have to wait until HP sorts out the driver issue for your model.
I have reported it.

I somehow managed to install the intel graphics driver but still no use in exact words the error is The graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware. Please Help
