Hi:

Please read the info at the link below for using the HP recovery manager program to reinstall W8 on your notebook.

If you cannot recover your notebook using the recovery manager program, you will need to contact HP technical support for the country you live in at the link below and order a set of recovery disks for your 4540s.

Call the number listed for business PC's/Notebooks.

Yes i can't recover through recovery manager.

I'm from Paksitan where and this country is not listed. Please let me know how I can get recovery disc or any ISO image to download and then burn on dvd ?

Hi:

There are no W8 ISO images to download that I am aware of.

I don't know what you can do then other than to buy the same OEM version of W8 that came with your PC.

You have to get the same version because if you try to install another version of W8 on the PC, the product key that is embedded in the BIOS in your notebook will automatically populate the installation and you can't change the product key if you get an invalid product key error.

So, for example, if your notebook came with W8 Pro OEM, you have to buy a W8 Pro OEM installation disk.

You might want to call HP support in India and see if someone there knows who (if anyone) provides support to residents of Pakistan.

I do not work for HP and I live in the USA, so that is as much info as I can provide to help you.

Good luck.

I just get Recovery option and when i click i get further three options

> refresh pc

> reset pc

> advance setting > restart pc

How to goet recovery manager the option mention in your link ?

P.S. can i have your skype id sir ?

Hi:

Unfortunately, it appears you are out of luck.

Your PC must not come with the recovery manager software, and it can't be downloaded from anywhere.

I do not have a skype ID because I don't have any PC's with webcams.

You are either going to have to find out where you can get recovery disks when you live in Pakistan or buy the exact OEM version of Windows 8 as I mentioned above.

Or you can buy any full version of Windows 7 if you prefer Windows 7, as HP provides drivers for Windows 7.
