Go to your notebook's support and driver page, download and install the Realtek Card Reader driver which is found under the storage drivers section.

My PCI Simple Communications Controller also. not installed.....Have any driver for this???
pc name HP 2000-2133TU
I use windows 8

Sir I have a question What is the difference between windows 8 and windows 8.1 driver?
HP Recommended

You're very welcome.

Below is the link to the driver you need for the PCI Simple Comms Controller:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-111391-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...

Unfortunately, I do not know the answer to your question...actually it may not be possible for anyone to answer it and I offer this driver I just posted for you as an example.

You can see from the list of supported operating systems that this driver is good for both W8 and W8.1.

Some device drivers will only be good for W8 and some for W8.1.

They must write some different code or something.

Since I am not a software engineer by trade or training, I do not know why this is.

Hi:

You can easily find that kind of information on your own by searching the internet.

Here is a decent article on the differences.  You can read that and if you want more info, do some more searching by keywords.
