Re: MediaSmart software

Are you talking about the MediaSmart server?  And you lost your original install disks?  And you reformatted or changed your OS on your computer and now you can't connect?  Looks like you will have to call HP tech assist to see about buying a new set of disks as they don't offer the software as a download.  The techs might know where you can download the software, but I am pretty sure since mine came with 3 different disks that they won't be able to offer you that option.  Good luck if this is your scenario!!

Re: MediaSmart software

sounds like you need the Quick Launch Button Software (SP40139) for your notebook, like for the PLAY, STOP, VOLUME UP/DOWN, etc...

Re: MediaSmart software

Hi ukpism,

I see that you are looking for some media software. I will be happy to help out but I will need some information from you. What operating system are you running? What is your product number?

Find your product number on a notebook:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c00033108

Finding your OS:

Thank you,
